High-Temperature Resistant Heavy-Duty Bags: Breaking Bottlenecks in Hot-Filling Production
October Thu , 2026
51

In many production sectors including chemical raw materials, food additives and plastic pellets, finished products at the end of production lines often reach temperatures above 80°C. Conventional packaging requires products to cool for 6–8 hours before bag filling; otherwise, packaging bags may deform, suffer degraded sealing performance or even rupture. This cooling process occupies substantial warehouse space, extends production cycles, and raises labor management costs and energy consumption, forming a critical bottleneck restricting capacity expansion for manufacturers.

To tackle this industrial challenge, Star Group’s technical team has developed high-temperature resistant heavy-duty bag solutions. Their core strengths include customizable temperature resistance, flexible reinforced structural design and diversified material options.

In terms of temperature resistance, thermal performance can be customized. Depending on customers’ product characteristics, solutions supporting high temperatures ranging from 80°C to 130°C, or low-temperature applications from -50°C to -20°C are available. For structural design, a three-layer composite construction (tensile-resistant heat-resistant outer layer + barrier middle layer + heat-resistant inner layer) is adopted to preserve mechanical strength and sealing performance under high temperatures. Customization of 4-layer, 5-layer and 6-layer composite structures is also supported to meet special requirements such as enhanced barrier performance, puncture resistance and thermal stability. Multiple base materials are offered to match different product needs, including moisture resistance, light shielding, corrosion resistance and anti-oxidation.

With self-developed high-temperature resistant packaging solutions, Star Group has overcome the technical limitation requiring hot materials to cool prior to filling. It enables direct hot filling on production lines for clients, greatly boosting production efficiency and cutting operational costs. This innovation addresses long-standing industry pain points and delivers notable economic benefits for manufacturers in chemical, food, building material and other industries.
