From Raw Materials to Finished Goods: A Visible Journey of Quality Control

Within the industrial packaging sector, many enterprises claim to be source manufacturers. Yet few can welcome customers into their production workshops to witness the full workflow from raw materials to finished products. For clients seeking consistent quality and dependable delivery, transparency in manufacturing carries more weight than marketing slogans.


Take Star Group’s aluminum foil FIBC bag production as an example. Every stage, from the group headquarters to raw material warehouses, bag-making workshops, quality inspection stations and finished goods warehouses, is fully auditable. The headquarters is located beside the scenic East Taihu Lake. Star Group operates eight factories across six production bases in Suzhou, Guangdong, Chengdu, Hubei, Huizhou and Vietnam, with a total production area of 200,000 square meters. Aluminum foil FIBC bags adopt multi-layer composite structures of PET/AL/PA/PE or PA/AL/PE. Samples of all purchased raw materials are retained for traceability to stabilize quality from the source.


Inside the clean production workshops, automated equipment carries out precision lamination and bag making. Rigorous standards are applied throughout quality inspection — not every bag can pass final inspection. Additional production steps are implemented to guarantee that every delivered aluminum foil FIBC bag is a trustworthy product for customers. The finished goods warehouse follows a make-to-order delivery model without overstocking, ensuring every supplied bag is freshly produced.


In terms of production management, Star Group’s heavy-duty packaging workshop is a 50,000-square-meter cleanroom dedicated to heavy packaging processing for chemical products. It is fully equipped with central air conditioning, air purification and exhaust systems. Equipped with multiple production machines, the workshop mainly manufactures aluminum-plastic composite FIBC bags and aluminum-plastic composite heavy-duty bags. The daily output reaches 50,000 FIBC bags and 120,000 heavy-duty bags.
